Via Ferrata is a very special activity which does not require experience, while it has a quite extreme character. It is an exposed mountain path protected along all the way by iron wires and iron steps.

In Crete there is one via-ferrata option, located in the heart of Asterousia mountains next to the summit of mountain Kofinas, offering an breathtaking view to the Lybean sea. It is set-up by our good friend and legend of climbing Zbynek Cepela.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Duration: 3+ hours.  

Participants need to be in good shape with some experience in climbing. It is not suggested for people who are afraid of heights or suffer from vertigo.
